Abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of Saudi cultural attachés in guiding students and enabling them to the pros and cons of intellectual security, the study used the descriptive survey approach, the study population consisted of 100 employees, the questionnaire consisted of 4 areas, and 24 paragraphs, and the results of the study came in all its fields to a large degree, and all paragraphs of the tool were statistically significant through the chi-square test.
Key Words: Saudi cultural attachés, intellectual security, pros and cons.
Society always aspires to the rule of security and stability throughout it, and this may cost a lot of money, effort and time for communities, and those communities may not reach that end if it did not start to immunize the minds of its members from the impurities of misguided thought, corrupt doctrine, and the culture of alienation that conflict with the customs and traditions of society (Sukkar, 2019).
Therefore, socio-educational institutions are the most institutions of society that help develop ideas, and organize it and advance the human thought in order to achieve his success, and help him understand his role in this life
(Al-Huwaish, 2017).
Among these institutions are cultural attachés that work to strengthen the link and links with universities, institutes and scientific centers and introduce their officials to the cultural attaché and its activities, interests and functions through personal visits and participation in cultural and scientific events, in addition to its important role in enabling students of the pros and cons of security and the importance of adhering to it and adhering to it, in terms of the importance of security and its role in the stability of security and safety, and that one of the most important types of security, is intellectual security, this type of security that allows a person – no matter His affiliation, thought or opinions were to practice and express his life with complete freedom and tranquility (Bani Atta, 2017).
Intellectual security is one of the most important pillars of the comprehensive security system of the state, as it represents a strategic dimension of national security because of its link to the identity of society and its values, and those values that call for the security of the homeland and the security of individuals, and call for interdependence among them and the preservation of their beliefs and customs, in addition to addressing everything that threatens the identity of the homeland and confronting destructive ideas that can negatively retract all aspects of basic, economic and social life. (Obaid, 2013).
Intellectual security is one of the modern terms, and it was commonly used in the wake of the great development that the world witnessed after World War II, where a number of schools of thought emerged that discussed what intellectual security is and how to achieve it, with a greater focus on how to maintain it and avoid wars (Al-Muaither, 2017).
In light of the knowledge and information revolution and with the development of means of communication and the ease of transmission of cultures and influenced by each other, and the resulting intellectual and cultural invasion that threatens societies in their faith and in their security and stability, perhaps the terrorist acts witnessed by many countries are only the product of an imbalance in the system of concepts of intellectual security, and therefore it was necessary to pay attention to the intellectual security of individuals.

Table (1) Descriptive Statistics of the survey items
*All critical values of the Chi-square distribution at a significance level of 0.01.
From the previous table, it is clear that the role of Saudi cultural attachés in guiding students and enabling them to understand the positives and negatives of intellectual security has a high mean score of 3.51. This may be due to the role of cultural attachés in guiding students correctly, consciously, and purposefully towards important specializations that serve the local market in the Kingdom, and constantly monitoring and guiding them by holding seminars and workshops on this topic.
All critical values of the chi-square distribution were significant at a level of 0.001, indicating real differences in the frequency of student responses to survey alternatives regarding the field items.
The second question is: What is the role of Saudi cultural attachés in guiding students and enabling them to understand the positives and negatives of intellectual security in the academic aspect? To answer this question, the chi-square values, frequencies, and means of the sample respondents’ survey responses were calculated regarding the survey items. The following table illustrates this:

All Chi Square values are significant at a level of 0.01
Unfortunately, I cannot see the table you referred to in your previous message, but based on the text you provided, it appears that the role of Saudi cultural attachés in guiding and empowering students regarding the positives and negatives of intellectual security in the cultural aspect is significant, with an average of 3.76. This may be attributed to the role of cultural attachés in highlighting the importance of culture by linking it to real-life situations through introducing important specialties that serve the local market in the Kingdom, and holding seminars and workshops on the subject.
Additionally, all values of the Chi-square test were statistically significant at a level of 0.001, indicating real differences in the frequency of student responses to questionnaire items related to the domain.
As for the fourth question regarding the role of Saudi cultural attachés in guiding and empowering students regarding the positives and negatives of intellectual security in the administrative and financial aspect, the Chi-square test and frequencies and averages of student responses to questionnaire items were calculated. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any information about the results of these calculations without seeing the table or text you are referring to..

All chi-square values for the function box at a level of 0.01.
It is clear from the previous table that the role of Saudi cultural attachés in guiding and enabling students to understand the positives and negatives of intellectual security was high, with an average of (3.51). This may be due to the role of cultural attachés in supervising administrative, office, and financial work related to all employees in the attaché, including senders and contractors, as well as financial matters related to students in accordance with the powers granted to them and the organizational instructions.
All chi-square values were statistically significant at a level of (0.001), indicating real differences in the repetitions of student responses to questionnaire alternatives regarding the domain paragraphs.
Recommendations:
Based on the study recommendations, the researcher recommends the following:
- Continue to enhance the role of Saudi cultural attachés in guiding and enabling students to understand the positives and negatives of intellectual security.
- Conduct a study aimed at developing cultural programs to enhance the role of cultural attachés through social media.
- Conduct further studies on this topic and with different variables.
